BIO

I began my pottery career 38 years ago while attending SUNY Cortland as a psychology major. Since then, my studios have evolved from a stall in a cow barn to my present studio overlooking Inlet Valley. I have been a contributing artist at Ithaca Farmer's Market for over 30 years, and a member of Handworks, a local craft cooperative, for 25 years. Over the years I have received awards at numerous shows, run a pottery school here in Ithaca with two other potters called Clayworks, and continued to support local community efforts, such as Empty Bowls, Women's Swimming, Kitchen and Hangar Theaters as I strive to combine my love for pottery with my love for the Ithaca area.
