Working in my studio at the historic B&B where I live, assembling beads from places like Greece, India or Africa, I feel connected to others who like me, have used their hands to create their craft. The faces I create reflect their faces. I string my beads with theirs in circles making necklaces and bracelets. We are all connected.

ARTIST’S STATEMENT
I first touched clay nearly forty years ago in a pottery class as an art education major in college. Pottery led to ceramic sculpture which I pursued for years, showing in galleries and museums from Chicago to California. My sculpture was shown at the John Michael Kohler Art Center, pictured in Ceramics Monthly and featured in Ceramic Review (London, England). Eventually my work grew larger and larger; and several cross country moves and questioning the ecological sense of large ceramic sculpture led me to jewelry, as my art and livelihood, functional and small. I’ve developed my jewelry over twenty years showing and selling in galleries, museum shops, boutiques, and gift and craft stores, in every state except South Dakota and abroad. C’est Levy!
