I paint from observation. Finding beauty in all things common I respond to color and the power it holds in creating mood. I am drawn, also, to the eccentricities that I find in shape and perspective when studying the simple everyday object or the complex natural world.
Both still-life and landscapes hold the same appeal. My paintings are quiet, intimate vignettes of low key color.

Born in Manhattan and raised on Long Island in the 1970’s, I was drawn to the peaceful hills of Upstate New York. About twenty years ago I settled outside of Trumansburg. I have been exhibiting my work regionally for almost as long. Currently I am a member of the State of the Art Gallery and the Trumansburg Art Collective. I received my MFA from Syracuse University
