My oil paintings are taken from a pedestrian view of people and places in urban environments. While the result is a realistic image, my paintings all have an abstract beginning as I search for the play of lights and darks throughout the piece. I range in size from the small study to the large painting.

STUDIO DIRECTIONS
From downtown Ithaca, go down Route 13 heading north (towards the lake.) Get off route 13 at the Stewart Park exit (1st exit past the high school). At the stop sign turn right onto Lake St. Drive past Boynton Middle School and turn left onto Renwick Drive (almost a u-turn). Follow Renwick drive up and around a corner until you get to a Y-shaped intersection. Veer off to the right onto Wycoff Rd. The next stop sign you reach will be Cayuga Heights Rd. Go Straight. At the stop sign turn left onto Kline Rd. Turn left onto Overlook Rd. (the next road). The studio is located in the white house with green trim.
