I work at home in a corner of my living room because I like living with my work. I used to work mainly in acrylics but in the last several years I’ve painted in oils. I find oils with their slower drying time, work great for paintings that I want to linger on.
My current oil painting series is named “Womanaza.” In these paintings I depict female figures as elements in landscape settings. I strive to make my work fun by using bold color, unique composition and by playing with perspective. I often hint at a narrative in my work and want the viewer to feel engaged with whatever narrative comes to mind.
